NTA and Intelsat conducted a Telecommunications Satellite training session which commenced on February 23rd and ended on 25th, 2023 at NTA HQ, Majuro.  The training session was designed to help  IT and Technicians from the Ministry of Health and Human Services, Public School System, Bank of Marshall Islands, and College of the Marshall Islands. Renato Liwanag from Intelsat and Ayapa Apuahe, Transmission Manager from NTA, provided valuable insights on satellite systems, which are currently used by all entities to deliver banking services, health services, and distance learning to the remote islands of Marshall Islands.  A small formal handing out of certifications was later on conducted at the NTA Boardroom by Mr. Liwanag and Mr. Apuahe on the last day.
